Greg Healey - MMM

South Australian furniture designer Greg Healey is well renowned for his work in art and architecture, urban design, furniture, objects and lighting.

Greg received an Australia Council Maker to Manufacturer to Market (MMM) grant in 2006 to develop his Big Red range of contemporary street furniture.

Launched in March 2007, the Big Red products were conceived after making a 4WD journey ‘towards Australia’s red centre via the Birdsville track.’ Greg says he responded to the forms, textures and colours of this extraordinary landscape in the realisation of this new work. 
 
Greg partnered with Street and Park Furniture Managing Director, Cameron Johnston, to manufacture and distribute his product.

Greg also has qualifications in Jewellery and Silversmithing from Sydney and NSW. His work has been exhibited in galleries around Australia and Europe and he has had several publications and reviews published in Australia, the USA and the UK.
