Register now for Regional Arts Australia conference

Registrations are now open for Regional Arts Australia’s sixth national conference - art at the heart - to be held from 3-5 October in Alice Springs.

art at the heart will be a meeting place for hundreds of artists, arts volunteers and arts industry workers from around Australia and the world. It will explore everything from the traditional arts to the latest ideas and technologies.

Artistic director and conference coordinator Kieren Sanderson said: ‘We are expecting a big response and we may have to limit numbers so if you’re planning to attend, sign up early.’

‘Delegates will participate in an exceptional first-class artistic program that is shaped by the art and culture of the Northern Territory and reflects regional Australia,’ he said.

Registration forms are available at www.artattheheart.com.au. Earlybird rates are available until 15 July.

The Northern Territory Government is hosting the conference through Arts NT in collaboration with the Alice Springs Town Council. The Australian Government supports Regional Arts Australia’s national conferences through the Regional Arts Fund. The Australia Council for the Arts through its four- year partnership with Regional Arts Australia supports the artistic program for the conference.
