Making for Market grants
Making for Market is a grant program to support the commercial development of digital projects as part of Story of the Future.
Nine grants and five writing mentorships were awarded to projects in March 2008, with a total funding of more than $200,000.
Supported projects included:
- Camp Kilmore, Raphael Sammut (VIC) - $20,000. Joe Velikovsky appointed games writing mentor
- Captive, Andy Wilson and Catherine Pettman (Tas) - $15,000
- Faction Comics, Sam Clayton (NSW) - $25,000
- Machine, Joffre Street Productions (TAS) - Matt Costello and Joe Velikovsky appointed games writing mentors
- Mondo Froggo, Kate Kennedy White (NSW) - $20,000
- Remix my Lit, Amy Barker (QLD) - $8000
- Stalker's Ink, Sarah-Jane Woulahan (QLD/VIC) - $18,000. Christy Dena appointed interactive writing mentor
- TellTales, Bernard Cohen, Natalie Kershaw and Daniel Ormella (NSW) - $30,000
- What If?, Kerreen Ely Harper (NSW) - $40,000
- Wild Ark, Shoni Ellis (VIC) - $30,000. Mark Shirrefs appointed children's writing mentor
