OYEA AbaF Young and Emerging Artists Award

The Australia Council for the Arts will sponsor a Young and Emerging Artist Award for the next four years.

The award is part the annual Australia Business Arts Foundation (AbaF) awards which celebrate the best sponsorships, partnerships, business volunteering and giving relationships between the arts and private sectors in Australia.

The Young and Emerging Artist Award will honour a partnership between a business and a cultural organisation (eg a performing arts company, artist-run initiative or arts service organisation) that helps to build skills, experience and opportunities for young and emerging artists.

The award is part of the Australia Council’s commitment to help young and emerging artists to gain a national profile and to build their professional connections, networks and skills.

The award winner will be announced in October each year.
