Nick Wu worked for an Icelandic online gaming company for three years before he decided to devote himself to the world of publishing. He has never regretted that decision in the eight years following.
Nick joined DookBook in 2010, first as an editor, and then as Chief Editor from 2014. He joined GUOMAI in 2015. He is most proud of his work on titles including The Godfather by Mario Puzo; Hyperion Cantos by Dan Simmons; Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card; Cthulhu Mythos by H.P. Lovecraft; and My Grandma Asked Me to Tell You She’s Sorry by Fredrik Backman, which have been very successful in the Chinese market. Recently he has been concentrating on The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón. He is a big fan of Australian novels, and is the editor of Trent Dalton’s Boy Swallows Universe and Minnie Darke’s Star-Crossed.
