Tina Arena, AM, is an Australian singer-songwriter, record producer, actress and performing artist. 

In 1995, Tina made history by becoming the first female artist to win both song and album of the year at the Australian Record Industry Awards (ARIAS). Her music and success have paved the way for upcoming Australian female artists to reach new heights within the Australian music industry. In 2015, Tina was officially inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame.

Tina’s has also had an extensive involvement in musical theatre, including critically acclaimed performances in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Nine, Cabaret, Chicago, andNotre-Dame de Paris on London’s West End. In 1998, Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber invited her to sing at his star-studded 50th Birthday Concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London. In 2018/2019, Tina starred in the lead role of Eva Peron in Opera Australia’s production of Evita.

In 2011, Arena became the first Australian to be awarded a Knighthood of the French National Order of Merit, presented by the President of the French Republic, for her contributions to French culture. In 2016, Tina was appointed a Member in the General Division of the Order of Australia for significant service to the music industry as a singer, songwriter and recording artist, and as a supporter of charitable groups.

After four decades in music, Tina continues to hold an important place in the Australian music landscape, by offering inspiration, wisdom, and encouragement to new artists.
