You were not required to address all of the questions, you may choose to address one or all of the questions if you wished. There was no required length or limit to your submission but you were encouraged to be concise.


The Australia Council is managing the submission process and analysing the results on behalf of Cultural Ministers Officials. Submissions are currently being analysed to inform Ministers’ considerations regarding proposed enhancements to the MPA Framework.

If you chose to provide your personal details they will only be viewed by select Australia Council representatives involved with the submission process. Information provided will only be shared with state and territory arts funding agencies once combined with other responses, so you can’t be identified. Data collected will be maintained for archival purposes. Any personal information you do provide may be used to assist in establishing themes within the analysis process.

Your submission will be considered independently and will not be associated with any existing, previous or future funding or job applications.

You may wish to provide your email address if you would like to receive an automated copy of your submission. You have the option to nominate whether you are willing to be contacted to discuss your responses further.

Submissions will be analysed to inform the consultation. Information regarding your interest in this consultation will be collected and used to assist in establishing themes within the analysis process.

The Australia Council will take all reasonable steps to ensure the information provided by you is kept confidential. Where the Australia Council has received a request for access to information created by a third party, under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (‘FOI Act’) we are required to consult with that third party before we release any documents or information.
